IDEAL Driving School is a DPS authorized Road Test provider. If you pass, we will give you your documents and your test result inside a “Sealed Envelope” to take to DPS to obtain your license.
If you are a US citizen,you can skip the long wait for the DPS appointment. We can submit your documents to DPS (Additional fees applies). Please ask the office about this service.

You’ll need to schedule an appointment with DPS to submit your “Sealed Envelope” to get your license. You will be required to schedule an appointment with DPS ahead of time to submit your sealed envelope to avoid delay.
Absolute authority to approve/disapprove a driver’s license is DPS(subject to the submission of appropriate legal documents by each applicant required by Texas Law).
